मै जोधपुर हूँ!

मेरा नाम जोधपुर हैं। मेरी   स्थापना एक राजपूत राव जोधा (1438-89 ई.) ने 1459 में की थी. मैं भी बड़ा इठलाया बड़ा इतराया और जब में मेहरान नाम की पहाड़ी पर बन रहा था तब मुझे ही पता हैं कि मेरे मन मे कितना घमंड हुआ था।    आज तो मैं रात में सुनसान खड़ा हूँ। लेकिन कभी मेरे दीदार करने के लिए लोगो को लाखों बार सोचना पड़ता था। आज तो जिसके जेब में पांच पचास रुपये हैं वो भी मेरी पोल में घुस जाता हैं।लेकिन वो भी वक्त था। हाँ में निर्जीव पत्थरो का जरूर बना हुआ हूँ। लेकिन मेरे भी दिल और आंखे और स्वरूप हैं। मेरे भी नीव और कंगूरे हैं। मैं भी रूप और अकड़ का जीता जागता नमूना हूँ।    मेरी अकड़ और रुतबा तो दुनिया मे महसूर हैं। कभी घोड़ो की टापों और हिनहिनाने की आवाजें किले में गूंजती थी। तलवारो और तोपो के साथ किसरिया बानो में राजपुती सरदार और 36 कौम की रैयत का मैं अकेला रखवाला था। रात को मेरे दरवाजे बंद होते थे। घंटाघर की घंटी से पहरे बदलते थे। हलकारे रात के पहरे के साथ हालकर लगाते थे।     ऊबड़खाबड़ रास्तो और पथरीली धरती का सीन चीरकर मेरा पिता रॉव जोधाजी जब मेरे तख्त पर सुबह की तुरई के और नंगाड़ो के साथ बिराजते
